Why Directory Listings Still Matter
A citation is any mention of your business name, address and phone number (NAP) online: Yelp, BBB, Angi, Healthgrades, industry directories and local sites.
Google and AI tools compare these listings with your Google profile and website. When they all match, your details look reliable. When they don’t (an old address here, a different phone number there), the mismatch can hold your rankings back and confuse customers.
